The following is a complete listing of the tombstones in the Caswell Center (Old) Cemetery in Lenoir County, NC.

Location Approximately 1 mile north of West Vernon Avenue on Hull Road turn left on a dirt drive to the left. Go past the present Caswell cemetery and follow the path to the right along the edge of the field to the woods line. Cemetery is at the end of the path.

    The epitaphs are as follows:

    In loving remembrance of the center residents buried from 1914-1928 on this hallowed ground. Dedicated September 21, 2008 Caswell Developmental Center Kinston, North Carolina "Dum Tacet Clamat" The restoration of this cemetery was an Eagle Scout Project completed by Ethan Meadows Troop No. 43 Caswell District East Carolina Council Boy Scouts of America Dedication September 21, 2008
