To Any Lawfull Officer of the aforesaid County, Greeting
Whereas Samuel DAVIS being in County with Robert WOOTEN hath complained on 
Oath to Joel HINES one of the Justices for said County that James PRESCOAT 
agreeable to the book? ---- Justify and --- to the Said Robert WOOTEN to the 
amount of fifteen dollars & eighty one cents and doth being made that the 
said James PRESCOAT hath absconded? Or so conceled himself that the ordinary 
process of law cannot be served on him & the said Samuel DAVIS having given 
bond & Security according to law I therefor Command you that you attach the 
property of the said James PRESCOAT if to be found in your County or So much 
thereof repleviable? On the Security as will Satisfy the debt & Cost 
according to Complaint & --- property - attached secure so it may be liable 
for further procedance? Given under my hand & Seal this 22nd day of January 
1819.

with our seals this the 4th day of March 1839.
The conditions of the above obligations is such that whereas the above 
bounded William BROWN hath the day of the date hereof prayed an attachment at 
the suit of Jesse PHILLIPS against the estate of the above named Jesse 
PHILLIPS for the sum of forty two dollars and twenty nine cents and hath 
obtained the same returnable to the cort to be held at Kinston on the first 
Monday in July next, now if the said, Jesse PHILLIPS shall pressent his suit 
with effect or in case he fail therein shall well and truly pay and satisfy 
to the said William BROWN all such cost and damages as shall be awarded and 
recovered against the said Jesse PHILLIPS his executors or administrators in

the full sum of Two Hundred Dollars for the payment of which we bind 
ourselves, our heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, jointly and 
severally by these presents.
Sealed with our seals, and dated this 13 day of Sept. 1854.
The Condition of the above Obligation is such, That whereas the said Richard 
NOBLE as aforsaid, hath by virtue of Execution to him directed, a Justice of 
the Peace of Land Courts, seized and taken into his custody one mare & cost 
one buggy or Rackaway?-two hed cattle and whereas the said Stephan W. BLIZARD 
have applied to give Bond for the delivery of the said property on when 
required by the said Richard NOBLE on the 25 Sept. 1854 at the House & Land? 
Of Stephen BLIZZARD to be sold to satisfy said Execution. Now thereofore if 
the said Stephen W. BLIZZARD do and shall deliver the said property to said 
Richard NOBLE, D.S. on the said day to be sold to satisfy said Execution, 
then the above obligation to be void and of no effect, otherwise to remain in 
full force and virtue.

hundred and eighty five pounds seven shillings ---- as Returned by the sheriff
and also the manor plantation of the Dec'd and four hundred acres adjoining 
and including the said plantation be set apart for the use of the said widow

We, James JONES, Justice of the Peace of said County and Oliver HERRING, 
Samueal HOWARD and Jese W.? KINCEY freeholders in obedience to the next order 
proceded on the 12th day of October to view the Estate of Evan NOBLE, Deceased
and out of the crop stock and provision on hand we have laid off and alloted to Leah? 
NOBLE, widow as follows that is to say thirty barrels of corn one 
thousand pounds of pork fifty pounds of lard one beef fifty pounds of sugar 
twenty five pounds of coffee five gallons of molases fifteen hundred pounds of
fodder four bushels of pees, pepper and spice two pounds each one and a half 
bushels of clean rice five gallons of vinegar five gallons of spirits, fifty 
bushels of potatoes five bushels of slips? Four bushels of salt two barrels of
flower one on hand ginger one pound and we have further laid of and allotted to the 
said Leah NOBLE one bed and its necessary furniture and one wheel and 
pair of cards? As her absolute property and put her in possession of the of 
the same.

Given under our hands and seal this the 12th day of October 1852.
