CAROLINA FEDERAL REPUBLIC 1813

50 Dollar Reward

Ran-Away from the subscriber on Sunday 30th inst two negro men named STEPHEN 
and JIM.—The former aged about 20 years, low and stout built, the latter 
nearly the same age, though he appears not more than 16. I will give the above 
reward for satisfaction proof of both being killed, or twenty-five dollars for 
the same proof of either. Otherwise I will give Ten Dollars for each of them 
alive delivered to me, or secured in any Jail in the adjoining Counties, so 
that I get them.
  All persons are forwarned from harboring, employing or carrying them off, 
under penalty of the law.
  Said Negroes are legally outlawed.
