CHARLOTTE OBSERVER 1922 BIG MOONSHINE STILL CAPTURED NEAR KINSTON Special to the Observer KINSTON, June 28 – Federal prohibition agents exploring a dense swamp in the Tuckahoe section, at the junction of Lenoir, Jones and Duplin Counties, discovered a 90 gallon moonshine still and three sites from which plants had been it was stated here today. The swamp was declared by the raiders to be nearly impenetrable at points.
