BIG MOONSHINE STILL CAPTURED NEAR KINSTON

KINSTON, June 28 – Federal prohibition agents exploring a dense swamp in the 
Tuckahoe section, at the junction of Lenoir, Jones and Duplin Counties, 
discovered a 90 gallon moonshine still and three sites from which plants had 
been it was stated here today. The swamp was declared by the raiders to be 
nearly impenetrable at points. The expedition resolved itself into an aquatin 
affair, and took to a lake in the pocoson in the search for the stills 
believed to have been in operation there, One arrest was said to have been 
made.
