Betty Jean Stilley Fordham
Betty Jean Stilley Fordham, 70, Six Churches Plaza, died Sunday January
1, 2006 at Craven Regional Medical Center in New Bern after a courageous
battle with cancer. She was retired from the Baron and the Beef where she
worked as a hostess. An informal celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at Pinelawn Memorial Park with family and
friends speaking. Survivors include her daughter, Helen J. Fordham of
Havelock, her son, James W. Fordham and wife, Teri, of Anderson, Ind.;
four grandchildren, Jane Fordham Esala and husband, Joe, of Havelock,
Sarah Beth Fordham of Greenville and fiancee, John McLawhorn, Heather
Leigh Fordham of Sea Level and Taylor Grace Fordham of Anderson, Ind.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of
flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930 B
Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834. Garner Funeral Home is in charge
