KINSTON—Eliza Pollock Hill, 89, of Britthaven Nursing Home, died Monday,
January 15, 1996. She worked at Kinston Shirt Factory and was preceded in
death by her husband, Garland G. Hill. Graveside services will be held at 2
p.m. Wednesday at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Kinston with the Dr. Eugene
Purcell officiating. Survivors include a son, Glen G. Hill, Tabb, Va. and a
granddaughter, Joanna Hill Bristow of Newport News, Va. The family will
receive friends from 7 to 9 Tuesday at Howare-Carter & Stroud Funeral Home.
The funeral home is in charge of arrangements. (Pd. Obit)
