James Henry (Jim) Taylor Obituary



James H Taylor drops dead while eating in Heritage Street Cafe

James H Taylor, well known farmer residing a few miles from Kinston, was striken with
apoplexy in John Hines' sandwich stand on Heritage Street, Tuesday afternoon about
2 o'clock, and died before medical aid could be summoned. Deceased was born in Lenoir
County and was 66 years old. He was a son of William G Taylor, well known
nonagenarian, who died soemtime ago. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs George
F Simmons of Kinston and Mrs W G Rapes? of Sandy Bottom; two sons, WR Taylor of
Sandy Bottom and Raymond Taylor of Kinston, and one brother, Capt John Taylor. The
funeral will take place at 2 o'clock at Cauley burying ground near Kinston, Wednesday
afternoon. Rev C W Howard will conduct the services.
