DEATH
Kathleen Taylor Sutton, 79, of 804 Carey Road died Thursday at Lenoir
Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at
the chapel of Howard and Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Dave
Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Survivors include two sons, Melvin Fordham of Kinston and Rev.
Richard Stanford of Rockingham; a daughter, Margaret Stanford of the
home; a brother, Ike Taylor of Swansboro; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Howard and Carter Funeral Home from
7-9 p. m. Thursday. The family will be at the home of Melvin Fordham
at 1707 Richlands Road. Memorial contributions may be made to the
Oxford Masonic Orphanage.
