Ralph Earl Johnson
Funeral services for Ralph Earl Johnson, 86, who died Friday morning will be held
from the chapel at Garner’s Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Norman
Polk, Christian, of Kinston will officiate. Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial
Park. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. R. L. Daughety of LaGrange Route 1 with
whom he made his home; three sons, Percy of Kinston, Elliot of Kinston, Route 6
and Frank B. of Bayonne, N.J.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters,
Mrs. Addie Jones and Mrs. Rosa Kennedy of Kinston Route 7. Active pallbearers
will be William “Earl”, Charles and Lee Johnson, Charlie Howard, Robert McDaniel
and Kitchen Dixon
