KINSTON—Ralph Scott, 95, of 1223 Guinea Town Road, passed away Tuesday,
Nov. 22, 2005, his 69th wedding anniversary. Mr. Scott was a retired farmer and
member of Lanie’s Chapel Christian Church. He is survived by his wife Evelyn
Griffin Scott; sons, Ralph Scott and Lonnie Scott and wife, Brenda, all of New
Bern; grandchildren, Kim Spitler and husband, Bo, Jennifer Frazee and husband,
Chris and Bryan Scott; great-grandchildren, Carson Spitler, Conner Spitler and
Grayson Frazee. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 25, in the
chapel at Garner Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Roberts officiating. Interment
will follow the service at Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 24 at Garner Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may
be made to Lanie’s Chapel Christian Church, 5333 NC 58 North, Kinston, NC 28501.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Nikki Grant, Teresa Whitfield and
family, and the staff at 3HC for all their acts of kindness shown to the family.
