Rosa L. Davis
KINSTON—Rosa Bell Lee Davis, 88, died Monday May 9, 2004, at Lenoir Memorial
Hospital. She was prededed in death by her husband, Emmett P. Davis, Sr.; son
Emmett P. Davis, Jr.; and her grandson, Eddie Davis. Funeral services will be held
at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 13, 2004 at the chapel of Garner Funeral Home. Burial will
follow in Westview Cemetery. Survivors include her daughter, Ellie Mae Roberts of
Kinston; son, Orion D. Davis of LaSalle, Colo.; sister, Doris Philyaw of Comfort; five
grandchildren, Donna, Ericha, Kevin, Erik and Ernie III; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 12 at the funeral home.
