RUEBELL BROOKS
Ruebell Taylor Brooks, 83, of Kinston Rt. 2 died Saturday, May 18, 1996.
Brooks was a homemaker and member of Southwood Christian Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday from Howard-Carter and Stroud chapel
with the Rev. Dexter Wasson officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn
Memorial Park. Survivors include two daughters, Nellie D. Memory of
Goldsboro and Dorothy J. Morris of Charlotte; three sons, Lawrence Brooks
and Phillip Brooks both of Kinston and Jimmy R. Brooks of Florence, S.C.;
six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends
from 7:00 to 8:30 today at Howard-Carter and Stroud Funeral Home. Memorials
may be made to the American Heart Association.
