Spencer Haskins, Jr.
TRENTON—Mr. Spencer Haskins, Jr. of Trenton passed away June 8, 2007. Mr.
Haskins was the son of the late Spencer Haskins, Sr. and Elvia Craft Haskins.
He was a farmer who loved to be outside and watching his cows. After retiring
from farming, he worked at U. S. Security Associates, Inc. where he retired in 2006.
He was a member of Tuckahoe Christian Church. Survivors include his wife Laura
Ruth Grady Haskins of the home; daughter Laurie “Wendy” Gaskins Grossglass and
husband, Kevin of Greenville; and sister, Glennie Fields Haskins of Trenton. Funeral
services will be held 7 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2007 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home
with the Rev. Roger Nobles officiating. Visitation will follow the service. Graveside
services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2007, at Westview Cemetery.
