Annie Gooding Scott
TRENTON—Annie Gooding Scott, 91, of 7800 Middle Road, Trenton died Jan. 4, 1999.
She was a member of Lanie’s Chapel Christian Church. Services will be conducted at
3 p.m. Thursday at Howard, Carter and Stroud Funeral Home in Kinston with the Rev.
Terry Shackleford and the Rev. Bob Hagerty officiating. Interment will follow in Westview
Cemetery, Kinston. Survivors include two daughters, Vivian S. Parrott and husband,
Frank of Kinston and Marie Benton and husband, Bobby of Kinston; two sons, John W.
Scott and wife, Ann of Catlett, Va. and Douglas Scott of Trenton; one brother, Steve
Gooding of Kinston; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will
receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times at the home.
