Death Of Lt. Benjamn F. Nunn The Raleigh Standard, Jan. 7, 1863 DIED, near Pink Hill, Lenoir County, N. C., on the 3rd day of December, 1862, BENJAMIN FRANKLIN NUNN, 1st Lieutenant of Company D, 27th Regiment, N. C. Troops of wounds received on the 17th of October, in the memorable battle of Sharpsburg. LIEUTENANT NUNN was a native of Lenoir County, N. C., son of JAMES NUNN, SR., dec'd, and was in the twenty fourth year of his age.
