CECIL O. FORDHAM

Kinston—Cecil O’Neal Fordham, 78, of 1742 N.C. 58 S., died Thursday, 
March 20, 2003, at his residence.  Cecil was a member of Bethel Free 
Will Baptist Church and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.  His 
parents, L. B. Fordham, preceded him in death.  Services will be held at 
4 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2003, at Bethel Free Will Baptist Church with 
the Revs. Neal Wilcox, David Paramore and Archie Ratliff officiating.  
Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends 
at Bethel Free Will Baptist Church from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday and other 
times at his home.  Survivors include his wife, Barbara Price Fordham, of 
the home; sons, Greg Fordham and wife, Bernice, of Snow Hill, Tim 
Fordham and wife, Karen, of Kinston and Rusty Fordham and wife, Tammy, 
of Kinston; sisters, Beatrice Scarborough of Virginia Beach, VA., Doris 
Julian of Norfolk, Va., and Virginia Ripley of Raleigh, NC; two sisters-in-law, 
Sarah Fordham of New Bern and Marie Fordham of Jacksonville; brothers 
are Linwood and Ronnie Fordham of Jacksonville; brother-in-law, Herbert 
Cox. Of Kinston; grandchildren, Justin Fordham and Lauren Fordham, 
both of Snow Hill,  Cody Fordham, Christy Fordham Heath and Blair 
Fordham, all of Kinston; great-grandson, Tyler Health; and great-granddaughter, 
Alyssa Rodriguez.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethel 
Free Will Baptist Church T.V. Ministry, 1936 Banks School Road, Kinston,
