March 24, 1916. Charlotte Observer. WILLIAM P. JONES Kinston, March 25 - Special. The funeral of William P. Jones, a well known Lenoir County planter who dies at his home several miles from here Tuesday night, was held in this city Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Jones was more than 70 years of age. He was a progressive and well-to-do farmer. His death resulted from the infirmities of old age and some disease or other. Surviving him are the following children: Mrs. Lovitt Hines Kinston, Miss Annice Jones and John Jones, Lenoir County, Mrs. P. H. Crawford, Goldsboro.
