Daisy Lee Albritton Vick SNOW HILL - Mrs. Daisy Lee Albritton Vick, 76, passed away Tuesday morning, February 9, 2010 at her home following a long and courageous battle with cancer. A native of Greene County, she was born November 11, 1933, the daughter of Joseph Benjamin and Mattie Lee Stocks Albritton. A secretary and bookkeeper by trade, she worked for many years with the Edge Brothers Lumber Co. of Snow Hill and then with Snow Hill Supply until her retirement. Mrs. Vick was a member of the First Baptist Church of Snow Hill. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m Thursday, February 11, at the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service with the Reverend Dr. Gene Martin officiating. Interment will immediately follow at the Snow Hill Cemetery. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Vick was preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Beddard; and brothers, Charlie Albritton, Richard Albritton, and Earl Albritton. Her surviving family includes her husband, Albert Willis Vick; daughters, Diane Vick Beddard and husband, Tom of Snow Hill, and Donna Vick Kearney and husband, Greg of Kinston; grandchildren, Kevin Beddard and wife, Chandel of Snow Hill, Madison Kearney of Raleigh, and Caleb Kearney of Kinston; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Beddard and Kody Beddard; sister, Martha Ann Everett and husband, Henry of Kinston; brothers, Arthur Albritton and wife, Margo of Hookerton, and Bob Albritton and wife, Brenda of Farmville; and several special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the resi-dence, 304 Hines Street, Snow Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to the First Bap-tist Church, PO Box 484, Snow Hill, NC 28580. Arrangements by Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service.
