Daniel Eugene Shaw KINSTON - Daniel Eugene Shaw, 36, of Kinston, passed away on November 30, 2008. Born October 4, 1972, in New Jersey, he was the son of Larry Shaw of Jacksonville, N.C. and Lillian McGillin Shaw of Fort Fairfield, Maine. Preceding him in death are his grandfather, Lawrence Shaw, Sr. and brother Kenneth Egan. Dan was Operations Manager for Allco Electric, Inc. in La Grange. He was a loving husband, father, and son and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, camping, skateboarding and attending his daughter's soccer games. He enjoyed playing video games, drawing, playing the guitar and tinkering with his hands. Good food and coffee were his favorites. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Jamie Clark Shaw of the home; daughter, Makalia Maria Shaw; his parents; step-mother Lana Shaw of Jacksonville; paternal grandmother, Shirley Shaw of Jacksonville; brothers Ronald Egan and wife Veronica of Kissermills, Mo., Richard Egan of Maine, Clifford Egan and wife Jeanette of Elliott, Maine, Lawrence Shaw and wife Bobbi of Cary; parents-in-law Hank and Sharon Clark of Deep Run; and sister-in-law, Christina Clark of Snow Hill. Visita-tion will be held from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2008, at Westview Cemetery with the Reverend Jeff Barnes and Larry Shaw officiating.
