Obituary of Daniel L. HINES
Kinston, N.C.

Goldsboro-Daniel L. HINES, 76, died Tuesday afternoon at the home of a 
son, W.D. HINES, in Adamsville, suburb of Goldsboro after an illness of 
three months. He was a well known farmer of near Seven Springs and since 
the death of his wife two years ago had lived with his son.

Surviving are four sons, W. D. and Walter HINES of Goldsboro, Wesley 
HINES of Kinston, and Dr. Norman HINES of Houston, Texas, four daughters, 
Mrs. L. H. PRICE of Seven Springs, Mrs. M. D. GURLEY and Nellie HINES of 
La Grange and Mrs. W. B. SHAKLEFORD of Panama City, Fla; two sisters, Mrs. 
J. W. WATERS and Mrs. Zenadia FIELDS of La Grange, and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the 
home in Adamsville by the Rev. Mr. HARRELL of Seven Springs Methodist 
minister. Interment will be in Piney Grove cemetery near Seven Springs.
