KINSTON - Danny S. Barnett, age 52, of 490 Barnett Lane, died Sunday, January 18, 2009, at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. Mr. Barnett was a dispatcher for Barnett Trucking. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2009, at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston, N.C., with the Rev. Ashley Summerlin officiating. He is survived by a son, Wilson Ellis Barnett of Greenville, N.C.; and a daughter, Dannah Elizabeth Barnett of Greenville, N.C.; three brothers, James Dexter Barnett and Dempsey Ray Barnett both of Kinston, N.C., and Vernon Bee Barnett Sr. of Pink Hill, N.C.; and a sister, Caroline Barnett Hardison of Kinston, N.C. (Due to the weather forecast) the family will receive friends after the service from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home and other times at 490 Barnett Lane, Kinston, N.C.
