REMAINS MR. LEE TAKEN TO KINSTON Pasteur Street Resident Passed Away Yesterday After Long Illness Following an illness of four months, Mr. Davis Lee passed away at his residence, 32 Pasteur Street, yesterday afternoon. The remains will be taken to Kinston, former home of thedeceased, this morning, where interment will be made this afternoon. Mr. Davis, who was in his forty-seventh year, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Lee, three children, Willie, Arthur and Madeline Davis, and a brother, Mr. Ernest Lee, whose home is in Kinston. BODY OF DAVIS LEE INTERRED AT KINSTON KINSTON, Oct. 31 – The funeral of Davis Lee, well-known former resident of this city, who died at New Bern recently, was held here, burial taking place in Maplewood cemetery Tuesday. Mr. Lee was 47 Years of age. He was a son of Mrs. George R. Lee and brother of Emmett Lee, of Kinston. A widow and Three children survive him. Rev Lee McB. White, pastor of the First Baptist Church, and Rev. Marshall Craig, of Petersburg, conducted the services.
