GRIFTON - Delzora Blount, 53, of 6514 Birdie Lane, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28 at Heath Chapel Church with Bishop J. C. McCotter officiating. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Survivors include her daughter, Beverly McCarter of Grifton; sisters Maybeline Moore of Grifton, Inez Blount of Bailey; and three grandchildren.
