Dorothy Lynch Hussey 
KINSTON - Dorothy Lynch Hussey, 86, of 182 Collier Loftin Road, passed away 
Monday, January 25, 2010, at Britthaven of Washington. Dorothy was a 
homemaker and a member of Rivermont Presbyterian Church and former director 
of the Pre-School. She was a former em-ployee of Frosty Morn for 17 years. She 
was preceded in death by her husband, L. E. "Buddy" Hussey; and her parents, 
John Lemly and Lena Mae Walters Lynch Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11 
a.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2010, from the chapel Garner Funeral Home with 
Dr. Floyd Enzor officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Survivors 
include her daughter, Cheryl Mooring and husband Carson, of New Bern; her sons, 
Billy Ray Hussey and wife Jean, and Thomas Earl "Bones" Hussey and wife Bonnie, 
all of Kinston; her sisters, Alice Wood and husband Kenneth, of Burlington and 
Virginia Cunningham of Grifton; her brother, Eugene Lynch and wife Lillie Mae, of 
Suffolk, Va.; seven grandchildren, Michelle Hill and hus-band Lee, Kim Ball and fiancé 
Curtis Smith, Christi Mooring, Jodi Dyson and husband David Jr., Chip Howard and 
wife Denise, Thomas Hunter Hussey, McKenzie Elizabeth Hussey; and seven great-
grandchildren, Justin Hill and wife Jessica, Kaci Hill, David Ball, Elizabeth Ball, Kayla 
Dyson, Carson Alexa Dyson and David Dyson III. The family will receive friends from 
7-9 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements by Garner
