Eliza Jane Koonce Barwick Hardy KINSTON - Eliza Jane Koonce Barwick Hardy age 88 of Kinston, died Thursday Dec. 31, 2009 at Britthaven of Snow Hill, N.C. Mrs. Hardy was retired from Caswell and was a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday Jan. 2, 2009 from Bethel Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Archie Ratliff and Rev. David Paramore officiating. Burial will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Violet Marie Hills and sons, Kenneth Lee Barwick and Lester Thomas Barwick. She is survived by her sons, Harlon West Barwick, Harry Ray Barwick and wife Patsy, William Henry Barwick and wife Glenda and Robert Allen Barwick all of Kinston. Grandchildren, Cheryl Mitchell of Kinston, Zeb Kinsey Jr. of Kinston, Jerry Lee Waller of Kinston, Joseph Dale Waller of Billings, Montana, Ray Barwick of Kinston, Johnny Olejniczak of Kinston, Amy Barwick of Kinston, Randy Barwick of Clayton, N.C., Kristen Barwick of Kinston, Stacy White of Ashboro, N.C., and Misty Hardison of Deep Run, N.C., 18 great grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Gloria Blackstock and a special com-panion Max. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday at 10:00 until service time. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to be made to Bethel Free Will Baptist Church 1936 Banks School Road Kinston, N.C. 28504. Arrangements are with Edward Funeral Home.
