Photo of Elba Lattimer Warren Elba Lattimer Warren Obituary Transcription: E L Warren dies; Rites here Monday Elba Lattimer (E L) Warren, 66, deputy insurance commissioner for the state for the past 33 years, died in Parrott Memorial Hospital from heart trouble and complications about 10:30 pm Saturday after an illness of several months. Funeral services were held from Edwards Funeral Home at 2 pm Monday, with burial in Maplewood Cemetery. Rev T Marvin Vick, pastor of the Queen Street Methodist Church officiated. Masons had charge of the rites at the cemetery. Surviving with his wife, Mrs Annie Noble Warren of the home on East Blount Street, are a son by a former marriage, E L Warren, Jr., of Jacksonville; a brother, Ray Warren of Charlotte, and two grandchildren.
