Etta Estelle Murphy Dail DEEP RUN - Etta Estelle Murphy Dail, 80, of 6053 Hwy 258 South died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010 at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. She is preceded in death by a son, Joseph Edward Howard. A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010 at Pink Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Turner officiating. Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Survivors include son, Charles Ray Howard and wife Betty from Deep Run; sisters, Pauline Alphin of Kinston; Myrtle How-ard and Evelyn Hall of Pink Hill; brothers, Roy Murphy, Lewis Murphy, Donald Murphy all of Pink Hill; Virgil Murphy of Dunn; four grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
