Fannie Stroud Taylor 
 
SNOW HILL - Fannie Stroud Taylor, 97, passed away Monday, February 15, 2010, at her 
home. A native of Lenoir County, she was born May 12, 1912, the daughter of David and 
Nannie Brown Stroud. 
Mrs. Taylor was an avid homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Snow Hill. 
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, at the Snow Hill Cemetery 
with 3HC Chaplain Layne Rogerson officiating. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Taylor was 
preceded in death by her husband, Carlyle M. Taylor; son Larry Taylor; and grandson, Zachary 
Taylor.
 She is survived by her sons, Ed Taylor and wife Jean, of Kinston and David Taylor and wife 
Joyce, of Snow Hill; daughter-in-law Brenda Taylor of Benson; special friends, Emma Tillman 
and Leslie Bristow; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. 
The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Wednesday at the cemetery 
and other times at the residence, 109 NW Fourth Street, Snow Hill. 
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the 3HC Hospice staff, nurses and 
aides for the kind and compas-sionate care they demonstrated to Mrs. Taylor. Memorials may be
