Felix Marion Hill KINSTON—Mr. Felix Marion Hill, 49, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2002. Mr. Hill was a native of Lenoir County born the son of William H. and Alphia Hill. He was a graduate of the Grainger High School and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church at Falling Creek. Mr. Hill had retired from the U. S. Postal Service with 28 years of service. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ann Sims and the Rev. Rick Vernon officiating. Committal services will follow at the Westview Cemetery in Kinston. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his father, William Harvey Hill, Sr. and maternal grandparents Horatio and Polly Jenkins Hill. Survivors include his mother, Alphia Hill Minshew of Snow Hill; brother, William Harvey Hill, Jr. and wife, Pam of Southern Pines; a dearly beloved niece, Holly Rebecca Hill of Southern Pines; a very special friend, Angela Alcock of Kinston and a faithful companion, Pep. The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Saturday and other times at the home of Alphia Minshew, 305 Hines St., Snow Hill. Arrangements by Taylor-Edwards Funeral Home.
