FRED HERCULES DAWSON DEAD Kinston, April 7 - The funeral of Fred Hercules Dawson was held at LaGrange yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, burial taking place in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Dawson, whose death occurred near Kenansville Wednesday afternoon, was a prominent Duplin county farmer. He was formerly a resident of this city. Mr. Dawson was extensively related in several eastern Carolina counties. He was a native of Pitt County, and was 68 years of age. A widow, and the following son and daughters survive: Richard Dawson, of Kinston, Mrs. R. R. Branch, of Wilson, Mrs. M. B. Lane, of Goldsboro, and Mrs. H. G. Sutton, residing near Kenansville.
