Obituary of Glenn Wayne Kimberlin ~ 2010

LA GRANGE - Glenn Wayne Kimberlin, 78, of La Grange, passed away Monday, January 25, 2010. Glenn was born July 1, 1931, in Tuskahoma, Oklahoma, to the late Dewey and Willie Bar-nard Kimberlin. He retired from the United States Navy following 30 years of service and served during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. Following retirement from the Navy, Glenn worked eight years with the United States Postal Service. Glenn was a member of Gateway Church Of The Nazarene in Antlers, Oklahoma. He enjoyed time with his grandchildren and gardening. A service of remembrance with full military honors will be held Saturday, January 30, 2010, at 2 p.m. from White Oak Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Stan-cil and the Rev. Bob Smith officiating. Glenn is survived by his wife of almost 45 years, Florine Johnson Kimberlin; two sons, Clifton Glenn Kimberlin and wife Delia, of La Grange and Bill Kimberlin of Antlers, Okla.; three precious grandchildren, Harley Cox, Thomas Kimberlin and Timothy Kimberlin; brother Neil Kimberlin of Antlers, Okla.; and two sisters, Beulah Carter and Marcella Wagner, both of Antlers, Okla.
