SNOW HILL — Mrs. Helen Fields Hill, 91, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. A native of Greene County, Mrs. Hill was born December 23, 1915, the daughter of the late, Lawrence Branch Fields and Laura Lee Hill Fields; and was the widow of the late, Blaney Hill. Mrs. Hill was a homemaker and a talented seamstress who often sewed for her family and friends in the community. She was a member of Hull Road Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, at the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service with the Reverend Leon Grubbs officiating. Interment will follow at the Snow Hill Cemetery. She is survived by her children, Linda Faye Hill Whitaker of Greenville, Patsy Hill Suggs and husband R.L., of Kinston, Billy John Hill and wife Sarah, of Hookerton and Loria Hill Craft and husband Stephen, of Walston-burg; a sister, Bernice Fields McLawhorn and husband J.B., of Hookerton; four grandchil-dren and four great-grand- children.
