Obituary of Helen Marie Ingram -- 2005

Helen Marie Ingram, 77, of 2156 Summerhill Terrace, passed away 
on Sunday, June 26, 2005.  She was a homemaker and member 
of New Hope Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School 
teacher, was a member of the WMU and held other positions in 
the church.  Survivors include her husband Wilburn Lester Ingram, 
Jr., of the home;  four daughters, Gloria I. Croom and husband, 
Bobby of Kinston, Linda I. Gaskins and husband, Walter of Kinston, 
Judy I. Bagley and husband, Danny of Greenville, Carol I. Lee and 
husband, Rodney of Kinston; two sons, Jimmy Ingram and wife, 
Jean of Kinston and Wilburn L. Ingram III “Speedy” and wife, 
Pat of Oak Island; five granddaughters, Christy Riley and husband, 
Richard, Pam Smith and husband, Garland, Sabrina Batchelor and 
husband, Tim, Wendy Walker and husband, Casey and Jill Ingram; 
two grandsons, Stephen Eroh and Bobby C. Croom, Jr. and wife, 
Monica; nine great-grandchildren, Drew and Lindsey Batchelor, 
Wayland Minton, Sarah and Meredith Riley, Kayleigh and Lydia 
Walker, Shane Boswell and Sofia Croom and five step grandchildren, 
Michael Ingram, Chris Bagley, Laura Gaskins, Melissa Stephenson 
and Chloe Teachey.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, 
June 28, 2005, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill 
Thompson officiating.  Burial will be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park.  
Visitation will be held on Monday night, June 27, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. 
at Howard-Carter Funeral Home.  Flowers are acceptable but memorial 
contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, c/o Tina
