James C. Sutton James C. Sutton, 78, of 615 Meriwether Lane died Sept. 22 at his residence. Sutton was an accountant and a member of Gordon Street Christian Church and of the Lions Host Club. Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the church with the Dr. Randy Spaugh officiating. Interment will be private at Westview Cemetery in Kinston; survivors include his wife, Ida Davis Sutton; one daughter, Carolyn Sutton Brann of Winterville; two sisters, Eula Dail and Beulah Henry, both of LaGrange; and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home in Kinston. Memorials may be made to Gordon Street Christian Church, 118 E.
