KINSTON—Jean Westbrook Haddock, 72, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005. Jean was a member of Lanie’s Chapel Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, September 17, at Lanie’s Chapel Church with the Rev. Pat Parvin officiating. Burial will follow in Trenton Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, J. H. Haddock, Jr.; sons, Joseph H. “Joey” Haddock III and Jeffrey B. Haddock of New Bern; daughter, Kaye H. Howard of Little River, S. C.; brother, Jimmy Westbrook of Ayden, S. C.; sister, Cynthia Parvin of Montgomery, Ala.; five grandchildren, Justin Howard, Hank Haddock, Frank Haddock, Jake Haddock and Emily Haddock; two nieces, Dawn Malkemus and Kelly Garza; great-niece, Kelly Malkemus and one great-nephew, Ryan Malkemus. Visitation will be held from 7-8:30 Saturday Sept. 16 at Cotton Funeral Home. (Paid obituary)
