Obituary of Jerome Garrett ~ 2010

DURHAM - Jerome Garrett, age 36, a native of Lenoir County, passed away on 
January 19, 2010, in Durham, N.C. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. 
Sunday, January 24, 2010, at Zion Temple AME Zion Church in Grifton, N.C. 
Burial will follow in Glenview Cemetery. He leaves to cherish his memories, his 
devoted wife, Tuwana of the home; three daughters, Neiah Hunter of the home, 
Shaneequa Garrett of Grifton, N.C. and Sincear Garrett of Kinston, N.C.; two sons, 
Christian Garrett of the home and Sydney Garrett of Durham, N.C.; his grandmother, 
Mrs. Fan-nie King of Grifton, N.C.; five brothers, his twin brother, Tyrone Garrett 
(Dana), Larry Garrett (Shirley), Robert Earl Garrett and Anthony King all of Grifton, 
N.C. and Robert Earl Parker of New York; six sisters, Katrina Fogg (Anthony), Esther 
Williams (Jasper), and Tamatha Garrett all of Grifton, N.C., Evangela Stocks of Ayden, 
N.C., Jennifer Nobles of Winterville, N.C. and Caro-lyn Suggs of Greenville, N.C.; one 
devoted niece, Miss Natasha Garrett of Grifton, N.C.; and a host of aunts, uncles, 
nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Viewing will be held from 2-8 p.m.
