ORMONDSVILLE, N.C. James Emory Farmer, 70, passed into eternity at his home surrounded by family and friends Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie S. Bowen Farmer; daughter Sue Ann Farmer, and adoptive daughter R. Lynn Graves of Ormondsville; sister Ruby Rouse and husband, George "Dottie" Rouse of La Grange; sister-in-law Eloise Wood and husband,H.L. "Shorty" Wood of Ormondsville; and seven nieces and nephews. A member of Ormondsville Free Will Baptist Church, he was talented in many fields, but excelled in crafting 18th century furniture. He retired after 20 years' service in the U.S. Air Force and later from the Pitt County Memorial Hospital Transportation Department. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at Farmer's Funeral Home in Ayden and other times at his home in Ormondsville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at Ormondsville Free Will Bap- tist Church, N.C. 903 N., Ormondsville, with Dr. Donald Ribeiro officiating. Burial will follow at Snow Hill Cemetery.
