Obituary of Jimmy Lee Hardison ~ 2010

Jimmy Lee Hardison SNOW HILL - Mr. Jimmy Lee Hardison, 64, passed away Wednesday morning, February 3, 2010, at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston. A native of Lenoir County, he was born December 15, 1945, the son of William Paul Hardison and Fannie Anderson Hardison. He spent his working years as a heating and air conditioning contractor, several years as a dedicated pastor, and most of his life as a loving husband, wonderful father and grandfather, and friend to many. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM, Friday, February 5, at the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service in Snow Hill with Pastor Steve Dixon and Pastor Gene Turner officiating. A Private committal service will be held later at the Snow Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hardison is survived by his devoted and beloved wife, Mary Lou Hardison; son, Ronnie Hardison and wife Kaye of Pink Hill; daughter Sandy Simmons and husband Timothy Simmons of Snow Hill; daughter, Ginia Hardison of Kinston; sisters, Phyllis Jacques of Kinston and Linda Eubanks of Dover; brother, Carson Hardison of Kinston; grandson, Eric Simmons of Snow Hill; grandson, Gavin Hardison of Kinston; and granddaughter, Aubrey Simmons of Snow Hill. The family will receive friends on Friday evening following the service and other times at the Hardison residence in Snow Hill. Arrangements by Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service of Snow Hill.
