KINSTON - Josephus D. Mitchell, 62, of 17-H Mitchell Wooten Courts, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at Albritton-Carraway Funeral Home with the Rev. Arthur Lofton, Jr. officiating. Survivors include three sisters, Alice Wise and Lula "LuLu" Mitchell, both of Kinston, Annie Mae Dudley of New York; three brothers, Johnny "Popeye" Mitchell of Kinston, William "Will" Waters of New York and Cleveland "Red" Waters of Connecticut. A viewing will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2010 at the funeral home. Arrangements by Albritton-Carraway Funeral Home.
