Lillie Durant KINSTON - Lillie Durant, 64, of 104 N. Melvin St., died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16 at St. James A.M.E. Church with the Rev. Carmichael officiating. Survivors include sons Charles L. Durant Jr. of Charlotte, Darryl L. Durant of Norfolk, Va.; daughters Tracy L. Durant-Walker of Lake Wylie, S.C., Romona K. Rodriguez of Ayden; brothers Thomas McCrary, Payton McCrary, Elton McCrary and Alonzo McCrary, all of Mississippi, Gene McCrary of Indiana, and David McCrary of Alabama; sisters Jessie Ruth Mosley of Colorado, Ella Lyons of Indiana, Vivian McCrary, Elizabeth Peay-Miller, and Bennie Bonner, all of Mississippi, Dorothy Schenck of North Carolina; and three grandchildren.
