Photo of John F & Lizzie Williams with her "Tin Lizzy" Elizabeth " Lizzie" Ann Ford Williams Obituary Transcription: County Resident Dies in Hospital Mrs Lizzie Ann Ford Williams, 68, of Fayetteville, route three, died early Friday morning in a local hospital. She was a native of Albertson township, Duplin county, the daughter of the late Edward VerMarl and Shellie Simmons Ford. She is survived by her husband, John Enoch Williams; two daughters, Mrs T R Dunn of route three, and Mrs Myron R Curl of Burlington and Seattle, Wasington; one son, Hiram Elwood Williams of Leaksville; and two grandchildren, also of Leaksville; three brothers, E R, E Leroy and Seth B Ford, all of Greensboro; an aunt, Mrs J W Grady of Albertson and a number of neices and nephews. She was a long and active member of the Universalist church and of the Eastern Star. She was a past matron of the Greensboro chapter 14 of OES and a life member of Long Leaf Pine chapter 186 OES of Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held at the First Universalist church in Kinston, conducted by Rev. F B Bishop, D D and a friend of the family for many years. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Kinston. Active pallbearers include O C Harvey, J W Coon, John K Boyette, all of Fayetteville.
