LOLA S. MOSSBERG Lola Evelyn Shivar Mossberg, 55, of 28 Barbara Drive, Green Acres Trailer Park, died Wednesday in Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. She was a waitress at King’s Restaurant. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday from Howard-Carter and Stroud Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Fletcher and the Rev. James Travis officiating. Burial will follow in Comfort. Survivors include her husband, Roland Earl Mossberg Sr. of the home; two daughters, Gloria Ann Abell of great Mills, Md., and Allie Sue Thorpe of Havelock; two step-daughters, Linda Marie Sharpe of Quincy, Mass. And Debbie McCauley of Hingham, Mass; four sons, Roland Earl Mossberg, Timmy Lee Mossberg and James Keith Mossberg, all of Kinston, and Roger Dail Horne of Concord; one brother, Carce Evans Shivar of Charlotte; three sisters, Margaret Ann Haskins of Trenton, Frances Long of New Bern, and Jasmine Jones of Trenton; 10 grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and at other times at 28 Barbara Drive, Green Acres Trailer Park.
