August 9, 1981. The following obituary appeared in the Kinston Daily Free Press, Kinston, NC. "LOUISE B. BIZZELL: Mrs. Louise Bland Bizzell, 75, of 1401 North Herritage St., died Saturday at Edgecombe County Memorial Hospital in Tarboro. She was a member of the Queen Street United Methodist Church and a retired clerk from Belk-Tyler and Virginia Dare Stores. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday fro the Queen Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Herman Winberry officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery with graveside rites by the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Douglas Alexander of Tarboro; a son, Norwood W. Bizzell Jr. of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Harry M. Bland and F. Becton Bland, both of Kinston; one sister, Mrs. Annie Hicks Rouse of Kinston; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren."
