MRS.LULA K.BROWN
Mrs.Lula Kate Brown,55,of Kinston Route 1,died at 11 p.m. Thursday in a local hospital 
following a brief illness.Mrs.Brown was the daughter of the late Charlie and Maude 
Wallace Huggins of Lenoir Co.She is survived by her husband Henry Harrison Brown,four 
daughters,Mrs.Gladys Gabriel of Long Island,N.Y.,Mrs.Henry C.Dixon of Snow Hill,Mrs.Ann 
Warren of Oceana,Va.,and Mrs.Doris Moore of Elizabeth City;two sons,C.W.[Billy] of the 
Navy at Norfolk,Va.,and Henry H. Jr. of Chapel Hill;12 grandchildren and two step-grand-
children;one sister,Mrs.Sadie Browm of Kinston;one half-sister Miss Martha Huggins of
Kinston;four brothers,Emmett,Stanley and Samuel Huggins,all of Kinston and Paul Huggins 
of Dover Route 1;one half brother,David Huggins of Grainger Station.Funeral services 
will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday .Burial at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
