Lulu Aldridge Pollock Obituary Transcription: Mrs Lula A Pollock dies early Sunday; Rites at 4 Monday Born: November 23, 1863 Died: March 12, 1950 Funeral services for Mrs Lula Aldridge Pollock, 86, widow of Dr John H Pollock of Kinston who died at he home at 416 North College Street at 12:30 am Sunday will be held from the Tyndall-Wood-Jarman Funeral Home at 4 pm Monday with interment in Maplewood Cemetery. Her pastor, Dr H I Glass of Wueens Street Methodist Church will officiate. Mrs Pollock had been in declining health for the past four years, since she suffered a hip fracture in a fall. She was a daughter of the late Lemuel Hardy and Eliza Harvey Aldridge and was born and reared in Kinston and Lenoir County. Her husband died in 1932. Surviving are 11 nieces and nephews: Mrs Matt Slaughter, and L H Aldridge of Kinston, P H Aldridge of Pink Hill, B A Aldridge of Roanoke Rapids, Mrs H J Hill of Lexington, Kentucky, Mrs A J Melvin and Alfred P Aldridge of Gastonia, Mrs J K Sullivan of Seven Springs, Clarence Hamilton, Myra Aldridge and Register of Deeds Camille Aldridge of Kinston. Pallbearers will be Earl Leichworth, J T Southerland, James Southerland, W F Stanley, Dempsey Hodges, Marion A Parrott, Troy Foscue and C G Cummings. Lulu Aldridge Pollock Headstone
