Mildred Virginia Perry KINSTON - Mildred Virginia Perry, 87 of Kinston passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010. Born in Greene County on April 4, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Carlton Frizzell and Minnie Stepps Frizzell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie "Jack" Meredith Perry; her son, Justin Earl Perry; and her daughter, Connie Virginia Perry. Survivors include her sons, James A. Perry and wife Mary of Kinston, Arthur Perry and wife Faye of Kinston, and Joseph Perry and wife Shelia of Deep Run; her daughter-in-law Barbara Perry; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Barnes officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
