April 27, 1922. Charlotte Observer. MAN FATALLY BURNED IN BAD FOREST FIRE Kinston, April 26 - Moody Stroud, 22, was fatally burned in a forest fire near Pink Hill last night dying today. Stroud was sleeping in the woods by a camp fire which ignited the surrounding timber. Please do not contact me as I do not have any information on these individuals.
