WOMAN ACCIDENTALLY SHOT BY GRANDCHILD
Small Boy Had Gun With Which Mrs.Farmer Was Killed
Mrs.Rachel Farmer,56,of Kinston was accidentally killed Suday afternoon by a charge from a 
shotgun in the hands of a five year old grandson,was buried Monday afternoon in Fairview 
Cemetery,LaGrange,says a delayed message to The Free Press.Mrs.Farmer had been making her 
home with a daughter here for two months.She went to the Mosley Hall town Sunday for a short 
visit.While she was walking in the yard,her small grandson,who had somehow acquried the gun,
shot her.She was the daughter of the late Allen Wilson and Smithy Carlyle Wilson and was a 
widow.Surviving are several children,among them Mrs.Joe Hill,Mrs.Will Potter,Mrs.Jimmie Hill 
and Mrs.John Holloway of Kinston.A Kinston minister conducted the funeral.
