ROBERT LEE “BOBBY” IPOCK Kinston—Robert Lee “Bobby” Ipock, 62, of Kinston, N.C. passed from this world to eternal rest on September 8, 1995 at Duke University Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Bobby was President of Kinston Delivery Service, Inc., Member of Elks Lodge 704 and Falling Creek Country Club. He was an avid golfer and aviator. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 37 wonderful years, Burlene Oliver Ipock; three sons, Robert Lee Ipock, Jr., Kirk Alan Ipock and wife Lynette of Kinston, N.C., and Gregory Keith Ipock and financee, Barbara Tyndall of Wilmington, N.C.; his mother, Thelma Coombs Ipock; three grandsons, Kirk Alan Ipock, Jr. of Warsaw, N.C., Charles Scott Dunn and Steven Grady Dunn of Kinston, N.C.; two brothers, Fred P. Ipock Jr. of Garner, N.C. and Thomas E. Ipock of Kinston, N.C. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred P. Ipock. Pallbearers will be Byron Hunter, Rayburn Faulkner, Delmar Ipock, Frank Parrott, Lou Conselina and Jimmy Jones. Visitation will be Sunday night, September 10, from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Howard-Carter & Stroud Funeral Home and other times at the home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 11 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Howard-Carter & Stroud Funeral Home. Pastor Roy Bowling and Pastor Eldon Brock will officiate. Entombment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of usual remembrances, donations may be made in his memory to Covenant Faith Church, c/o Pastor Roy Bowling, 908 Jefferson Dr., Kinston, N.C.
