Funeral of Mrs. Rosa Ernull Held

   Relatives and friends from New Bern, Richlands, Jacksonville, Hamilton, 
Vanceboro, Greenville, Henderson, Oxford, Fayetteville, Durham, Leaksville, 
Creedmoor, Goldsboro and Black Mountain attended the funeral of Mrs, 
Rosa Kinsey Ernull here Sunday.  She died at the weekend.  She was a 
lifelong resident of Kinston and known to many in the city.

   Ministers who officiated at the funeral were Rev. R. A. Phillips, of the 
Disciples of Christ, and Rev. Edwin F. Moseley, rector of St. Mary’s 
Episcopal Church.  Pallbearers were Dr. Anderson L. Hyatt, Lee Fordham, 
Aubrey Wiggins, Henderson D. Mabe, Philip Fordham and Clyde Morris.  
There were many final tributes.

Funeral Mrs. Ernull Be Held at 2 on Sunday

   The funeral of Mrs. Rosa Kinsey Ernull, 69, who died at 11 p.m. Friday 
at her home, 808 East Gordon Street, will be held from the residence at 
2 p.m. Sunday.  Rev. Edwin F. Moseley, rector of St. Mary’s Episcopal 
Church, and Rev. R. A. Phillips, of the Disciples of Christ minister, officiating.  
Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

   Mrs. Ernull was the widow of F. S. Ernull who died in 1923.  She was born 
in Jones County September 2, 1870, was married in December, 1909.  She 
is survived by one sister, Miss Mamie Kinsey, with whom she had lived 
since her husband’s death, and three stepchildren.

   She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Kinsey of Jones County.  
She was a member of Gordon Street Church of Christ.  She had been ill a year.

Notice of Administration
   The undersigned having qualified as Executor of the estate of Mrs. Rosa L. 
Ernull, late of Kinston, Lenoir County, North Carolina, notice is hereby given 
to all persons having claims against the estate of said decedent to present 
the same to the undersigned at 1205 Mangum Street, Durham, North Carolina, 
or his attorneys, Sutton & Greene, Kinston, North Carolina, on or before the 
4th day of January, 1941, or this notice will be pleaded in bar of recovery.  
All persons indebted to said estate will please make prompt payment to the 
Executor.

   The 3rd day of January 1940.
